So while on vacation in Maine, I added two more deliveries to police stations for our critter list.
Five went to Ellsworth police (Barbie said she'd give them to officers responding to incidents that have children involved when they respond).
Thirty-two went to Katie at Bangor police dept. She originally thought shed take 20 or so... but when she realized how compact they are, she took all that I brought into the station!
Thanks to a chance meeting at a local gas/grocery stop in Winter Harbor, Maine, we were able to offer 6 critters to Officer Corey (Gouldsboro police dept).
Station #19!!
What a fabulous mtg we had... 4 new ladies who have never been. They had LOTS of critters to donate and while we will be set for the summer (and beyond!), we'll be quilting up a storm!!
Attending were Kathy, Jane, Kim, Carol, Gloria, Gail, Linda, Jill, me. All we did was wrap and bag critters. All the new ones had their tags removed, but I'll double-check that no plastic is remaining in any parts.
