Feb meeting and More!

We had a great turnout! Seven of us there... Sorry to hear one of our dedicated members woke up not feeling so good. Hope you get better quickly, Kathy!!
We finally got this Pink/yellow quilt DONE!! We can't tell you how 'troublesome' this one was. It was donated to us and we realized the seams needed some 'straightening' out (that was truly painful). After ripping many of the seams apart and putting them back together, it was still a little wonky, but okay.  Even working on the border, was painfully frustrating! Hence the name.
"Frustration is Fine"

This had the binding done and was waiting for Janet and Norma to finish hand-quilting the binding. It just needs a label. Norma took it home to finish. I don't think we have a name for it yet.

While this one isn't one for the group, it was one of Nancy's, made from scraps leftover from her projects from the past years.... Sort of a memory quilt. It was brought in to get some 'ideas' where to go from here.

This Fall Garden Panel, bought at Marden's over the years, was batted and the center panel was 'tied' so the ties show on the back. Nancy will machine quilt the top and bring it back for next month's mtg. The binding is gold and already prepared to get sewn on.

This was another 'donated' quilt, creator, unknown. THIS one was made well (Whew, thank goodness). It looks like a floor tile. We put the backing together (pieced with green and brown) and we got it pinned. Nancy will machine quilt around the design. and within the borders of the geometric shapes in the outer borders.

This little cutie was done by Janet and has so many crazy fabrics in it from HER past projects. We pieced a backing that was cool enough to roll from the back into a binding! I'll try and get a photo of the backing and post it.

And MANY thanks goes to Deanna, who continues to 'feed us' with healthy soups!! This one was AMAZING!!!!!
Thanks to all the ladies who were able to help out. (We even looked at the "Jar Quilt". Didn't sew any more to it, but know what needs to be done next).
