Hand-quilted a few of Kathys latest... I'll add more as i finish them. Okay... all 15 are DONE!
Added a friend to the fuzzy ones, as they looked too skimpy...
Thanks Kathy!
Since 2007, our quilting group has been bringing peace and comfort to others in this world.

Belonging to the local FB no-buy site has its advantage.
Seeing a "new toy" that could be used with our critter project, I replyed that I was interested (and told her why). That prompted someone else to offer new beany babies to contribute to our critter collection.
Thanks to Janet Blakeslee and Stephanie Thompson for their generous donations!!

It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to the dear husband of one of our most dedicated quilters! Kathy's husband, Bill, passed away in his sleep on Monday.
Kathys 'gift' was her care for her family and to the love of her life for over 50 years. It was also a gift to us, as she loved being included in our projects.
Take time to heal and know that we are all here for you. Love you Kath, and Bill, rest in peace.

Sometimes, things just work the way they are supposed to.
Our thanks go out to Officer Bodell at #middletownctpolice who took 20 of our critters to hand out during roll call. (Our 10th police station!) He sees them, also, helping during interviews with kids at the courthouse, next door!
On my way home, I decided to see what critters I could pick up at the Dollar Tree store in Cromwell. When Mary Hough-Scholl (cashier) saw our teddys/critters, she asked where they were going (I explained what we do with them). She then asked if she could make a donation, hence paying for all 10 of them!!
Thanks for spreading this love....💞👍😁.
