So while we had a good turnout of members, with a new member being my Aunt Norma's cousin, Roxanne, we had one of our dear members let us know she has to leave the group, due to health issues. She needs to focus her remaining time on earth on getting her own things done for herself and family. We understand and will miss her dearly. Love you, Miss Margaret!
Here are the many quilts that were worked on during the last two months by Kathy and Janet.

This top was made by group blocks using blue centers, hence the name. It was finished in April, but didn't get blessed until this week after all the ladies got to see it finished.

Kathy added the pink around this top she was given by Marilyn. She wasn't crazy about the dull green, but with the hot Butterflies, she made it beautiful.

Kathy S made this one, and the name jumped out! "Heavy Cargo" was written on the fabric and the chain link fence made it look like a construction yard.

This one is a top that Janet G brought in. It's her friends and she wanted to show us the pattern. Herringbone using bold large print charms (cut in half) and blended with cream and gray. Beautiful!

Only 5 of these got Blessed on Sunday, as we didn't want to crowd them on the front railing in church. I'll replace them with more for next Sunday.
Two quilts were taken home to have the bindings finished on them. I'll see them in September. I took some fabric home to have something created for the next meeting.
