This quilt found a home with a Ukranian man, age 77 from Charlton, MA who was diagnosed with kidney cancer. His daughter, a parisioner at church requested it.
It was made from orphan blocks ... they now are home.
Since 2007, our quilting group has been bringing peace and comfort to others in this world.
Great meeting, after having to skip last month's mtg. Only 4 members and a guest (Jill, who may show up at more mtgs!), but we got so much done...
Delaney checking out the panel that will be created from our homework blocks.(Above)---Dee's quilt is going to #quiltsforsurvivors in Canada when completed. She and Jill tied it and I trimmed it, so she can roll the edges for the binding and we'll label it before donating.
Two quilts were pin-basted (i took them home to machine quilt and possibly trim and bind and label).
And made some decisions on the #colorwashquilt (below).
It was great to get together!!
