January critter count

 Finishing up Kathys quilts and wrapping them around critters.

I'll add photos as I finish...

Missing a critter that would match his fabric,  but i found one...

Just need to be tied and Blessed! The quilt above, on the left, found a dragon for its pairing...

Happy New Year-2026

 Had only 4 members for our Jan mtg, but also had a woman from our old church (St Mary's Episcopal) who offered us her recently deceased sister's quilting fabric. What a gift... we will use it gently. Thanks Loretta.

Also got to finish our purple top and pieced a backing for it. We will sandwich it next month.

Spoke to a Lt. Parent at Enfield (CT) police dept, about collaborating with our "Comfort Critters". He's very excited and wanting to use them in conjunction with Social Services and their Domestic Abuse Shelter, besides being in their cruisers.... so he thinks 25-50 should cover a years worth. (He didnt want to be greedy,  lol). I brought him 40 critters today.

Also, spoke to Newington police who have 20 cruisers, so they would like what we can bring them.

That will be a total of 15 police depts, and 5 agencies.

Here are some little quilts made by Kim! I LOVE how bright and cheerful they are! I'll have to grab some critters when I go to church today, to match them up!
