Kathys critters finished

 So glad Kathy is machine-quilting these... all I have to do is close the opening. Cant wait to match the quilts that she didnt add critters to.







Lynda W requested a critter for her son (a local EMT) who was having difficulty dealing with the trama of covering a call in which an autistic  4 yr old was hit and killed by a car, after sneaking out of the house at 4:30 am.

Summer Blessings

 It was lovely to have a visit (usually every three yrs) from the CT Episcopal Bishop, Jeffrey Mello, who did a wonerful seemon including a Blessing of our last critters before we take the summer off from our meetings.

We got to Bless 49 critters this morning.

#22 & #23 police depts!

 How lovely, that #wethersfieldpolice dept Chief gave his Blessing for this project. Thanks to Lt Joseph Baich who accepted 10 of our "Comfort Critters" for his cruisers. We are so happy for them be our 23rd police dept using our critters for stressed children that they encounter, however they see fit.

June mtg, summer break

 We had a great mtg and while a few members werent able to make it, we did get a lot accomplished. 

Several of our critters wrapped and ready to be "bagged".


Jill had come just in time to get critters tied up!

Gloria getting 4 quilt squares from Maria sandwiched. She will finish them at home over the summer (machine-quilted)
